Did you know that most local charities are managed by Boards of Trustees made up of local volunteers? There is a national shortage of trustees and this is reflected across the District.
Volunteering Bradford is particularly keen to hear from anyone who is interested in finding out more about the role of trustees.
You can find an overview of the role here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/charity-trustee-whats-involved
Local charities can’t function without a Board of Trustees. If you are interested in finding out more or would like details of trustee vacancies please email firstname.lastname@example.org or ring 01274 725434
Becoming a Trustee can be a very rewarding experience and give you the opportunity to develop new skills and help to shape the future of local charitable organisations.
