Turn your Organisation into a Volunteer Magnet

Once attracted, a magnet holds fast. It is hard to break the link between a magnet and something stuck to it. Likewise, when your recruitment and management of volunteers is working effectively, it can be hard for either side to break off and retention becomes easier.

Dealing with Difficult Volunteers

This workshop will equip you with a range of tools for dealing with difficult situations involving volunteers. We will look at good management practice, identify strategies for dealing with difficult individuals and identify best practice when ending a volunteering arrangement.

Greater understanding of good volunteer management practices and an increased confidence in dealing with difficult behaviour.

‘Basic Awareness – Safeguarding Adults’

This is a 3 hour course for anyone who works or volunteers with a service that supports ‘adults at risk’. This training can be delivered at evenings/weekends or during the working week at a venue convenient to you.
