Help into Volunteering for Asylum Seekers and Refugee

Bradford Volunteer Centre is working in partnership with Bradford City of Sanctuary to support asylum seekers and refugees into volunteering. Volunteering has many benefits if you are new to Bradford:

  • Meeting new people
  • Getting to know the local community
  • Practising your English
  • Using your skills to benefit others or learning
  • Reducing loneliness and isolation

We provide short, interactive “Introduction to Volunteering” sessions exploring what volunteering is, how it benefits volunteers and what to expect when you start volunteering.
If you are interested in getting involved or know someone who is then please contact us to find out about forthcoming sessions.

We also offer appointments at Bread & Roses Cafe, Bradford Please ring 07904953864 to book

or visit our Monthly drop-in at Millside Centre, Grattan Road on the last Monday of the month 1-230pm, no appointment necessary
